Abhishek Kholiya
Founder & CEO Of WebSeva
Abhishek Kholiya is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer at WebSeva. He is also a member of the board of directors.
Other than WebSeva, Abhishek is also a researcher at Lumiere, where he is currently conducting research in the intersection of deep learning and agriculture.
At WebSeva, Abhishek is responsible for the growth strategy and overseeing the overall operations of the organisation. He founded the organisation with the goal of digitising non-profits in India.
Since then, his leadership has played a key role in scaling the organisation from 0 to now serving over 10 non-profits. He also headed the development of WebSeva AI and designed components of various non-profit websites.
Prior to building WebSeva, Abhishek was a software engineering intern at Abhilasha Samiti, where he was responsible for the development of their website from scratch and overseeing their digital marketing efforts.
It was during his time at Abhilasha that he realised the problems of non-profits and decided to build WebSeva.
Prior to his work at Abhilasha, Abhishek had volunteered at Ajay Oli Child Welfare Society as a mobile app developer, where he was the sole developer of "Bole Toh Pahadi Podcast“ and received guidance under a professor of electrical engineering at SIT. His work at Ajay Oli earned him praise from the District Magistrate of Pithoragarh and inspired him to use tech as a tool for change.
When he was 14, he founded and led a startup called "Utility Tech,“ where he was responsible for leading the development of Utility Bot, a multipurpose Discord bot that had 100+ functionalities and gained popularity to reach 6K users.
Academically, Abhishek is currently a high school senior at BBVM Senior Secondary School and earned his 10th-grade degree from Dikshant International School.
